My Windows crashed in eleven/2015. After months and excruciating hours speaking to express English language speaking technicians in India, with no results, I took my reckoner into a Microsoft store, where it was necessary to install a whole new hard drive, with the original Vista OS. Unfortunately, the store technicians were unable to reinstall the original Microsoft Dwelling house & Student 2007 and I have no program.
The computer was purchased at All-time Buy (CA) in June, 2008 with the programme installed. I no longer have the deejay or the Product Key and - afterward spending $149 for the "Piece of work & Play" service parcel and another $60 for the new hard drive (on an former computer which I had planned to replace in June, this year). I hope I do not have to purchase some other Dwelling house & Pupil, 2007 program again. Is it possible for me to receive a replacement installation disk and product key? Although the offer was not made, (& I wasn't enlightened of the problem at the time) can the Microsoft retail shop - which repaired my figurer - furnish me with those items without accuse?
I have all the documentation which confirms the repairs and my business relationship should have a lengthy record of my futile telephone contacts with Microsoft, Mumbai !!

To obtain a replacement from MS requires that you lot take the physical proof of purchase, ie the original receipt

I no longer accept the original receipt from Best Buy. I did write downwardly the Product Key for Role - Home & Student 2007, however, information technology no longer works?! I do accept the product keys for Vista and Microsoft, if I can employ those to download Office?

Alvin: You misunderstood my last email: The product key which came with my Part - Home & Student 2007 (which was installed on my calculator at the time of purchase) DOES NOT WORK - it consists simply of 20 numbers only. It is evidently wrong and, perhaps, I wrote downwardly the wrong numbers at that time!
I cannot, therefore, re-install the plan and am requesting some solution from Microsoft which volition allow me to to practise and then, without having to buy (once more!) the Office program.
When I purchased the Work & Play Bundle in November, 2015, they offered me Office 365, still, information technology is not compatible with Windows Vista, which is my operating system. When your technicians installed a new hard bulldoze, I was left with no Office/Word plan!
Help!!!

We on this forum, and me specifically, are not "Microsoft". Microsoft does not pay much attention here.
Since a MS Shop fluffed upwards your reckoner and copy of Function, the only place you can go satisfaction is from the shop director.
Role Product Keys are e'er 25 characters, typically written by MS in 5 groups of 5 char. Sounds like you lost one whole group (start or terminal).
